Always wanted to work for a start-up? We're looking for a new team member passionate about health, wellbeing and sustainability to assist with the recruitment of our rider community.

Tiller Rides was founded back in 2016 to help address emerging problems in our cities such as car congestion, declining health and wellbeing, and expanding environmental footprints. With this in mind we have created a cutting-edge e-bike for urban riders wanting a healthy, cost-effective and environmentally friendly way to travel around their city.

 

As part of our pre-sales campaign earlier this year, we welcomed 160 riders into our rider community and have recently raised $1.067 million in investment to propel production of the bike and our expansion across Australia. We’ve now got our sights on bringing aboard another 100 people to the rider community through pre-orders of our Roadster by March 2020 in time for our first production run. You’ll be instrumental in helping us achieve this.

 

About the role

 

To be successful in this role, you’ll have an interest in personal wellbeing and sustainable living and helping people. You’ll have experience in sales, marketing and events, have a positive, can-do attitude, be a great communicator and team player and be driven to help propel a great Australian company onto the world stage. 

This is currently a part-time role (2.5 days per week) starting on an initial six month contract with the possibility of extension. You will have an assistant working with you part time. Some weekend work is required (a half day three out of every four weekends).

The role will involve: 

  • finding new ways to recruit riders 

  • organising test-ride events

  • initiating new promotional event opportunities

  • liaising with interested riders

  • closing pre-sales.
